Merchant Center currency mismatch
When the product feed currency and the landing-page price currency differ, Merchant Center can disapprove the item as a price or currency mismatch. This page does not read your feed. Use the free check below to compare the public page language with the currency marks on that page. We do not collect payments at this stage.
What usually shows up
- The feed is JPY, but the page price is only USD.
- html lang is ja, and the page has no yen amount.
- Language-specific URLs show each other's currency.
What to check, in order
- Read the landing page html lang and the language of the body text.
- See whether the visible price currency matches the market. Japanese pages should show JPY. Traditional Chinese pages should show TWD.
- Set the Merchant Center feed currency to the currency shown on that page.
- Submit the same URL to the free check.
LocaleWatch looks at currency symbols and ISO codes (JPY, TWD, USD, EUR, and similar) against the page language. English pages do not have one fixed expected currency. The product does not fetch Merchant Center feed XML.
